At the start of my real estate career, I felt the same exact way.
I didn’t want to be “scrappy” to build my business, pounding the pavement or putting up billboards of my face all over town. That just didn’t feel like me. I wanted to be a resource for individuals through one of the biggest financial transactions of their lives, as well as a person who people sought out to work with.

So instead of taking the advice of my brokers, I leaned into my MBA in Branding and my design background and built a brand that prioritizes serving clients over selling them. I focused on providing education, sharing a free guide and created a monthly email list to help shed the light on the home buying process that first-time buyers desperately needed (and wanted) to feel comfortable starting their home buying journey.
This style of marketing helped me banish the sales mindset that was constantly pitched to me (and frankly, made me cringe!) and allowed me to bring in warm, ready-to-buy clients from social media for over 7 years. This mindset and marketing shift transformed my business from living deal-to-deal to having a prepped pipeline of clients who trusted me and wanted to buy with me.
